Roger was sitting on an empty bench, people watching, one of the many pass times that he took part in, it was a great way to tell what people were really like. When they don't know someone is watching them they do the strangest things.
Roger was just laughing at someone who seemed to think that their bag was able to understand them.

Joel had the strut, grin and hands in the pocket shrug down pat, in fact he had practiced them for years. So, when Joel walked down a hall, he really walked down a hall. Cool, confident, cocky and in charge.

Roger's attention was suddenly caught by the Hufflepuff Quidditch captain strutting down the hall. He rolled his eyes shaking his head, trying to suppress sigh of annoyance. This guy annoyed him, a lot. He sat back in the chair, his lips pursed, and his arms folded, without him even noticing it as he watched him walking by.

Joel cocked an eyeborw, passing the almost un-known Ravenclaw. "Davies." He said, with a smirk... a smirk enviable oh a Slytherin. "Keeping busy I hope." He said with a laugh, looking him over, seeing that people watching was the absolute opposite of busy.
